Biography:

In a two year run, The Scotland Yard Sale played 36 shows. These sometimes involved piñatas filled with candy, getting thrown out of Antone's, or just being surrounded by a ton of great friends.

The Scotland Yard Sale played their first show in July of 2007. Ted McLean, Carter Francis, Bobby Martinez, Josh Thompson, and Rob Slater continued for the next 6 months to hang out occasionally. After playing a few more shows and making enough money playing music to record some demos, they cut together Cityscapes. A rather ambitious project from the get-go, the story-album garnered much more attention than it's creators anticipated.

The band spent the next year writing songs and playing shows in preparation of recording a full-length debut properly. This never happened after the band lost all of it's $ after a show in the winter of 2008. As 2009 started, the group had limited time and money as they returned to the studio to cut a 3-track promo EP. This would be called "This Was Supposed To Be An Album". A live album was recorded in May 2009, but it has still yet to see the light of day in a proper release.

The Scotland Yard Sale is currently on an indefinite hiatus.
